Hi, I’m Brigitte Bartley Sawyer, Founder of Illumin8 Your Life, LLC.
After graduating from a private liberal arts girls college, I began my career as a Human Resource Manager for an automotive manufacturing company, where I worked for five years. While I truly loved the fast-paced energy of the corporate world, everything shifted when I became a mother. After the birth of my first son in 2001, I made the decision to step away from the office — and I never looked back. My second son arrived in 2002, and my third in 2005. From that moment on, I knew the traditional office walls were no longer where I was meant to be. Being a mom to my three boys has always been my greatest motivation and most important role.
For 13 years, I devoted myself to full-time motherhood. Then in May 2011, I launched a home-based business that gave me the freedom to create my own schedule, be present for school pickups, field trips, and travel the world with my sons — everywhere from NYC and LA to San Diego, the Bahamas, Cabo, and Israel.
That business became the channel for my lifelong passion for holistic nutrition and fitness. I built a global organization through network marketing, which now includes over 112,000 associates across five countries. My love for supporting small business also led me into social media marketing, where I've worked with clients all across the U.S. And my passion for people and sales guided me to become a licensed real estate agent with Blackstream Christie's International.
Today, I continue to wear many hats — but at the heart of it all is connection, growth, and purpose. I'm also proud to co-own Sawyer Business Group with my husband where I serve as Chief People Officer, supporting our corporate staff and store managers while also cultivating a strong company culture.
